If They Don't Care About It Anymore, Why Are Americans Forced To Pay For It?
Sudhama Ranganathan
2013-05-28 4:07 PM
There comes a time when each thing changes, and in doing so, loses its value and worth. It happens all the time, and as life progresses, we are called to adapt to the times, and we all do. Even if our reaction to change is trying to fight it, that very struggle itself is change. Eventually the world moves on from things that have taken on a new meaning, died out, are no longer relevant or that have simply become obsolete. One of the most important lessons people can learn is to accept that times change, and to move on with those times. The vast majority of change, we simply cannot do a thing about, and as such we accept it. Month to month, year to year and decade to decade looking in the mirror we can observe this very phenomena, needing only the tiniest bit of factually grounded perspective. (image/jpeg)

Symbols vs. Substance (It's Not Entertainment)
Sudhama Ranganathan
2013-05-07 7:39 PM It's important to all of us to feel a part of our government, especially when it is run by our tax dollars, and those tax dollars are money that could be going to the necessities in our lives. It is important, especially when at times bills that put a roof over our heads, that may have had to have been to be skimped on, partially paid or left till next month, could have been paid with money that was taken out of our paychecks and sent to the government. It is important, especially considering the fact that, ever since the government gave away trillions to help banks in order to free those banks up so they could continue to lend (banks that after taking our cash, took the money, invested in themselves and refused to lend), we have ended up with leaner times, with much of the money going to the government every payday, being cash that could be saved for our kid's futures instead. It's especially important, when that money collected up by the government every paycheck is money that could have gone towards our own personal retirement savings. (text/html)
