On Dec. 14, 2005, the Green Party candidate for the U.S. Senate in MD, Kevin Zeese, ripped into President Bush calling his Annapolis speech, “filled with lies!” He also demanded the U.S. get out of Iraq and admit it’s a “failed policy.” He labeled the Military-Industrial Complex, the “greatest threat to our country.” Zeese also wants a “Single Payer” health care system, a “share the wealth” economy and a fair and balanced Middle East policy. Citizens serve Governor with subpoena, drop evicted tenants' things at Gov.'s mansion
Early this morning, a subpoena was served to Governor Kathleen Blanco on behalf of the people of New Orleans and the areas affected by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, charging her with 'dereliction of duty'. An evicted tenants' belongings were placed on the Governor's lawn, along with a sign saying "Governor Blanco, Is this your 'state of normalcy'??" -- referring to a statement the Governor made when she lifted the ban on evictions on Oct. 25. The activists also left a list of demands for Governor Blanco to fulfill. (image/jpeg + 4 comments)

lets face it, this country does not care about you if you are not rich. FEMA and the Red Cross are corrupt and will not help those relocating during hurricanes. I was told to freeze and go to hell by a red cross employee It has been weeks, months since HurricaRed Cross disconnected their emails weeks ago and actually hang up on people in the middle of conversations. Hurricane Katrina/Rita and there are many who received zero aid because they were either tansient, staying with friends and got caught up in the Hurricane Rita Debacle on Higway 59 that Texas Governor Perry Likes to pretend never existed (text/plain)

An ultra hawk, he pushed for the Iraqi War which has cost untold misery for the Iraqi people and death and pain to the lives of so many American families.
