text Former Admin. Official Needs Only Three Words To Explain Manipulation of Intel: ‘The Vice Think Progress 2006-06-27 5:30 AM
The Democratic Policy Committee held a hearing this afternoon to examine the manipulation of pre-war Iraq intelligence. Rep. Walter Jones (R-NC), who previously disavowed his vote for the war, attended the hearing and asked the panelists why a small number of individuals in the administration “had more influence…than the professionals.” Lawrence Wilkerson, former chief of staff to Secretary of State Colin Powell, said he only needed three words. text FACING A TOUGH RE-ELECTION BID, SAD SACK SANTORUM 'FINDS' WMD Bill Gallagher 2006-06-27 5:24 AM
Santorum sold his scoop as "critically important information that the world needs to know." It turns out Ricky Boy was describing old shells from the 1980s found in discarded munitions dumps. Santorum forgot to mention that, at the time, Saddam was our "friend" and Donald Rumsfeld was our special envoy to Baghdad. Rummy sipped Scotch with Saddam and provided him with satellite photos of those troublesome Kurds, which Saddam then used to pinpoint his poison-gas attacks. (An excellent article that deals with alot more than Santorum) (text/plain)

text News on the five gang members ambushed in New Orleans last week: Tom "Patriot" 2006-06-27 2:35 AM
Fed task force has been in NO for 4 weeks watching a very heavily armed and vicious Latin "street" gang. This gang was to meet with the "victims" of last week's massacre to divide up "territory". Real reason was to eliminate the competition. The "Vice Lords" (believed this to be the Latin gang, maybe error) ambushed the NO native gang. After bringing them down with auto fire as they stepped out of their vehicles to "meet" with their rivals, each and every one of the six locals were deliveredthe "coup de gras" - 2 to head + 2 to chest. Hence, the National Guard and Louisiana State Police deployment to NO. (text/plain + 2 comments)

text 9/11 - The Trigger Baywolf 2006-06-27 2:08 AM
I'm not going to go into too much technical detail on why it's all a lie. There are too many well researched sites by professional smart guys for that. Instead, let's step back for an overview and put some puzzle pieces together. (text/plain + 2 comments)

  Richard Perle: A Serial Warmonger!
Richard Perle is at it again! He tossed a hizzy fit when the Bush-Cheney Gang decided to have “talks” with Iran over their disputed nuclear program. The Mother of All Neocons implied President George W. Bush was a coward. He said the President “blinked” and that the Mullahs had “glared” him down. Perle has no shame! He helped to create the disaster which is the Iraqi War. Now, he wants to set the stage for a repeat U.S. performance with Iran. (image/jpeg)

By D. Burbeck Mike Malloy of Air America Radio said a few nights ago that in the '90s Cheney used to speak of the need to establish a U.S. presence in the Middle-East. I had never heard this before, but it came as no surprise. (text/plain)

text Santorum: We Found the WMD Think Progress 2006-06-26 6:02 AM
While a small number of old, abandoned chemical munitions have been discovered, ISG judges that Iraq unilaterally destroyed its undeclared chemical weapons stockpile in 1991. There are no credible Indications that Baghdad resumed production of chemical munitions thereafter, a policy ISG attributes to Baghdad’s desire to see sanctions lifted, or rendered ineffectual, or its fear of force against it should WMD be discovered. text Democracy in chains Greg Palast 2006-06-25 3:58 AM
Don't kid yourself: the Republican party's decision yesterday to "delay" the renewal of the Voting Rights Act has not a darn thing to do with objections of the Republican's white sheets caucus. So Republicans have promised to no longer break the law - not by going legit but by eliminating the law. (text/plain + 1 comment)

text 3rd Political Parties: Unite Constitutionally! Or Be Damned! Ed Ward, MD 2006-06-24 5:19 PM
What are 3rd Parties waiting on? Reality/Fact Check: Hello! The World Trade Centers were demolished (video ev), pulled ,and planned (vid. ev.), as it takes weeks to "rig" the explosives needed to "pull" a massive structure. Thermate residue has been found in WTC remains. Detonation charges going off in the building can be seen clearly. NORAD, while not "officially" told to stand down, was told there would be an "exercise" or drill of planes flying into buildings and even sent to far locations, just in case. The 2000 and 2004 elections were stolen. The voting machines are still being used in some states. Every American is being spied on through telephone calls and internet usage. The largest database in the history of the world is being created and you better damn well believe this article and every internet address (IP) reading it is in the data. (text/plain)

What’s Next for the Palestinians - Starvation?
Since 01/06, when the Palestinians elected a Hamas-dominated government, the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) have accelerated their brutal treatment. After Israeli PM, Ehud Olmert, appeared before the lapdog U.S. Congress on May 31, 2006, the IOF also slaughtered 32 Palestinians, including 10 children. On 06/23/06, Tim Rothermel and Laila El-Haddad, at a Capitol Hill forum, warned that the Palestinians may, eventually, face starvation, too. (image/jpeg)
