Aaron Burr and Dick Cheney: Two Treacherous VPs
William Hughes
2006-12-21 1:32 PM
 V. P. Dick Cheney is a very powerful, but desperate individual. The idea that the Bush-Cheney Gang is planning to send 30,000 more troops into the Civil War in Iraq is insane. A planned war with Iran is also on Cheney’s agenda as a diversion to save himself and George W. Bush from impeachment. The Special Prosecutor will soon cross examine Cheney in the “Scooter” Libby case. Unless the U.S. Congress acts soon to impeach, say good-bye to the Republic! (image/jpeg + 1 comment)

Hans Bennett
2006-12-17 4:03 PM

CHINA TO DUMP ONE TRILLION IN U.S. RESERVES!!!!
Hal Turner
2006-12-17 2:01 AM This is an unverified article. Unsupported by the supposedly collaborating links, except by unrelated circumstancial information. None the less, will be interesting to see what happens on Monday. Highly unlikely they will sit on their reserves for long, everyday brings less value to the reserves. But, neither can they dump in masse as that will bring a much quicker depletion in the reserve. (text/plain)

Congress Votes 368-31 to Back Mumia’s Racist Frame-up
Steven Argue
2006-12-15 6:10 PM
Not a single Louisiana Congressperson voted against the resolution.
Joining in the racist lynch mob calling for blood of an innocent black man was Louisiana Democrat Congressperson Charles Melancon. William Jefferson didn’t vote.
Also voting for Mumia’s blood were Republicans Bobby Jindal, James McCrery, Rodney Alexander, Richard Baker, and Charles Boustany.

Community Congress II report, pt. 1
Brian Denzer
2006-12-13 9:14 PM Notwithstanding the highest turnout of any UNOP meeting thus far, the second Community Congress ironically lent an air of legitimacy to a process which remains obscure. Although citizens expressed their belief that it is essential they be allowed to participate in the plans to rebuild their city, many complained about the fact that they still have no sense about how the Unified New Orleans Plan process will take their input into consideration in the final citywide master plan scheduled to be released in January. Citizens may not be savvy enough to know how to work within the rarified circles of political dealmakers at the local, state, and federal levels in order to achieve their goals. Almost without exception, however, citizens from various neighborhoods, of various backgrounds, races, education, and experience, are generally far better informed than public officials about what’s happening in their neighborhoods, and speak passionately about how government is failing them, because they’re living and feeling the post-Katrina crisis every minute of their lives. A conversation with Rev. Lois Dejean, Deborah Davenport, and Joan Smith. 27:43, 13.6 mb, 64 kbps. (audio/mpeg)

Pinochet, chief of the mass murderers, dies
Clase contra Clase
2006-12-12 1:35 PM His death does not mark the end of Pinochetism. People are declaring themselves admirers of his work. Some more shamefully than others, they declare themselves his admirers, his followers, his heirs. They must pay for his entire legacy. The indictment for the crimes of Pinochet's dictatorship, which the human rights organizations have upheld valiantly and tirelessly for years, against his civilian and military collaborators, does not expire with the death of their leader. City of New Orleans, LA & 36 Other State's Elections Fixed?
Ed Ward, MD
2006-12-10 5:05 PM There is no doubt that past and present controls on DRE electronic voting machines are (1.) inadequate, (2.) faulty and (3.) ripe for fraud. Has fraud been performed? Watch computer programmer Clinton Curtis testify under oath that in October of 2000 he wrote a prototype election fixing program for then speaker of the house of Florida and present FL congressman Tom Feeney that was virtually undetectable and even worked on optical scan machines. Clint Curtis is presently running for Florida's 24th district Congressional seat.
What motive could there be for not insuring the primary source of our democratic republic is completely secure? Why would any politician, elected official or candidate, not want, desire and strive for a true election process? Subverting this democratic republic and the will of the people seems to be the only viable answer.
