Stop the Neocons from Digging our Graves!
William Hughes
2006-05-10 10:30 AM
The Neocons are at it again! Besides Iran, they now are verbally assaulting Russian and China. Robert Kagan, the cofounder of the Zionist-dominated “Project for the New American Century,” (PNAC), accused those two nations of being protectors of a “league of dictators,” which includes Iran. Meanwhile, since “Imperialism,” is supposedly the bad guy, the Israeli Lobby and the Neocons, who helped to push the Iraqi War, continue to get a pass. (image/jpeg)
The Christian Extremists are holding Battlecry youth rallies in city halls May 12, 3:30pm
Debra Schaffer Hubert
2006-05-08 9:08 PM
This is an announcement for an action and an essay which goes into detail about the Battlecry Youth gatherings. G.W. Bush is part of this maniacal cult that promotes wars against Muslim countries, with young "christian soldiers" doing the fighting, laws that take away women's rights to make decisions about their bodies, and other anti-sexual and homophobic ideas...

When War Making Criminals Get What They Deserve
Cathy Garger
2006-05-04 12:56 PM
Today the Senate is prepared to vote on a bill that will rack up an additional $67.6 Billion for making war upon Afghanistan and Iraq. That "supplemental" money, however, will just keep the eager war-makers in just enough Depleted Uranium, Grenades, and Conventional Mines (all types) only to last another five months, till September 30.

What an Odd Bird that Elie Wiesel Is!
william Hughes
2006-05-04 11:41 AM
To some, Elie Wiesel is a “messenger to mankind.” Well, Alexander Cockburn doesn’t think so. He said that Wiesel, a devout Zionist, failed as a messenger when it comes to those “victimized” by the policies of the U.S. and Israel. After the first Persian Gulf War, Wiesel gave Dubya’s daddy, Bush I, a humanitarian award and called that bloodbath “a magnificent victory!” This supposed moralizer has also been silent about the evils of the Iraqi War. Philippines: Agrarian violence claims more lives under Gloria Macapagal Arroyo Regime
Laban ng Masa (Fight of the Masses)
2006-05-03 3:48 AM
Agrarian violence claimed two more lives this month. A leader of Task Force Mapalad (TFM), Rico Adeva, 39, was gunned down by three men as he and his wife Nenita were walking to their home in Barangay Dos Hermanas, Silay City, Negros Occidental on Black Saturday. He suffered seven bullet wounds – in the head, stomach, chest, and hand. Meanwhile, in Davao, the Secretary General of the National Coordination of Autonomous Local Rural People’s Organizations (UNORKA), Eric Cabanit, was assassinated by two masked men while he was in a public market in Panabo last April 24, 2006. His daughter, who was with him when the shooting happened, was also wounded and is still in critical condition.

King Would be Proud of Rep. Barbara Lee!
William Hughes
2006-04-30 9:53 AM
On April 27, 2006, a Forum was held on Capitol Hill by the House of Representatives’ “Out of Iraq Caucus,” whose purpose is to end the Iraqi War and bring all the troops home. A leading Caucus members, Rep. Barbara Lee (D-CA), also testified. She said there were no WMD in Iraq and that Osama bin Laden had no connections to 9/11, Iraq or Saddam Hussein. Lee said the Bush-Cheney Gang must answer to the people: “Why did [they] do it?” (image/jpeg)

Nothing has changed except this: Since the mass pro-amnesty marches in Chicago and Los Angeles our potential for mass resistance against mass repression is now on the table as an absolute factor in the equation.
And that’s what the May 1st Huelga General is all about. It’s about our power and their vulnerability... (image/jpeg)
Kevin Zeese: “Hawkish Israeli Lobby Wants War with Iran!”
William Hughes
2006-04-25 12:03 PM
The Israeli Lobby, with others, helped to instigate the Iraqi War. A scholarly report, the “Harvard Study,” which was recently released, also documents the “unmatched power” of the Lobby over the national interest. Now, the Bush-Cheney Gang is targeting Iran for a pre-empted strike. Is the hawkish, hard right, pro-Israeli Lobby pushing for a war with Iran, too? Kevin Zeese, an independent candidate for U.S. Senate In MD, thinks that it is. (image/jpeg)

Breaking the Mikulski Code!
William Hughes
2006-04-18 10:05 AM
Sen. Barbara A. Mikulski (D-MD) voted against the Iraqi War, but she has consistently voted to fund it. She poses as a liberal, but on the Iraqi conflict, there is little or no difference between her complicity in that wrong and that of VP Dick Cheney. He was recently booed at a baseball game. When will the people of Maryland begin booing her? Another funding for the Iraqi War vote is coming up in late April. Will Mikulski again support the Bush-Cheney Gang? (image/jpeg)

Intervening on the Build-up of War: 2nd part of talk with a fascist (?) cousin
unbridled artist network correspondent
2006-04-14 11:11 PM
My cousin could be equated with a mid-level military officer in his local influence (of young men) and his technique of speaking with me, whom he shares some basic prohibited enjoyments (i.e. smoking pot). He may be involved in the fascist underground and that would seem likely given his penchance for this topic and his connections (i.e. with his brother who is a well-known east coast agitator against jews). Whatever he is doing, I saw a chance to not only possibly intervene directly into someone who is attempting to justify and rationalize his beliefs, but also share (and seek input) this with people like yourself whom may be inspired in your own activity. Filipino Social Democrats assure extreme leftist BAYAN solons case agains them very strong
PDSP
2006-04-13 10:44 PM
Jesuit priest Fr. Romeo J. Intengan, one of the founding leaders of the Partido Demokratiko-Sosyalista ng Pilipinas (PDSP) and author of the Ateneo study asserting that party-list lawmakers belonging to the extreme left channeled millions of pork barrel funds to communist rebels, slammed anew the party-list solons. “The details that BAYAN MUNA party-list Rep. Satur Ocampo and his colleagues (Rafael Mariano, and Teodoro Casiño of BAYAN MUNA; Liza Maza of GABRIELA; Joel Virador Crispin Beltran of ANAKPAWIS) want, regarding the diversion of their pork barrel funds to abet communist insurgency, are now part of the evidence in the rebellion charges being filed by government against them,” Intengan said.

Paul Wolfowitz’s Heart of Darkness
William Hughes
2006-04-11 11:46 AM
Now, War Hawks within the Bush-Cheney Gang are planning a First-Strike against Iran. It may come just before the Nov. midterm elections. The Neocon Paul Wolfowitz concocted the notion of a Pre-emptive War. His target, in 2003, was Iraq. Every time I hear Wolfowitz’s name mentioned, I curse him for all the deaths and suffering that his scheme has caused to the peoples of that unfortunate country, our brave troops and to our dwindling treasury. Banking on Our Ignorance: A holocaust denier is taken on by his cousin
unbridled artist network
2006-04-10 9:21 PM
The more ignorant or unfamiliar you are with and about statecraft, the easier people who want to perpetuate war can manipulate you. So committments to war or peace or radical sanity take form, and an intensifying radical's radical dialogue
"becomes" between two persons who like each other at face value (and some years of background history). This communication may be instructive for those who want to better understand aggression and its rationalizations in order to ju-jitsu the worst of what happens when beliefs are allowed to bear the ugly fruits of perpetual war. Another Surreal Day in the Age of Bush
William Hughes
2006-04-05 11:34 PM
The baseball season opened on April 3, 2006. President George W. Bush was in Cincinnati and tossed out the “ceremonial” pitch. Jay Leno said it went off to the “far right.” Meanwhile, nine brave U.S. troops were killed in Iraq on that day; one for every inning Bush was at the game. Zacarias Moussaoui, a suspected mental case, faces the death penalty for 9/11. Also, corruption-tainted Rep. Tom DeLay (R-TX) fears a hammering from the justice system. (image/jpeg)
