text The Deceptive Nature of Memory Reinarto Hadipriono 2004-03-07 1:07 AM
There is no "past," "present" or "future"! What is really happening is that we are constantly undergoing "a change of condition." Apparently we are "being deceived" by those "impressions of the previous conditions" that have remained imprinted as our memories. (text/html)

text WAR PRESIDENT---MY ASS!!! gdy 2004-03-05 4:00 PM
Racicot was quoted as " Senator Kerry crossed a grave line when he dared to suggest the replacement of America 's commander-in- chief at a time when America is at war," while implying that Kerry was a traitorous renegade. Just to remind the snide Racicot, Kerry happens to be a war hero. He has the medals to prove it. The Army doesn't award Purple Hearts out for catching syphilis, in some Mexican whorehouse, while guarding the skies of Texas from VC infiltrators. (text/plain)

text The Passion and Zionism Mazin Qumsiyeh 2004-03-05 1:34 PM
My family lives in Beit Sahur, the biblical Shepherds' Field. The church of Nativity in Bethlehem is about 700 yards from the house in Beit Sahour where I was born and the church where I was baptized. Many, but not all, Palestinians adopted Islam over the years, just as not all Palestinian Jews and Pagans became Christians. Despite the usual problems between minorities and majorities, we all coexisted. (text/plain)

text Verfied Voting.org: Last Chance for a Fair Election Peter J 2004-03-04 9:53 PM
FAIR ELECTIONS MIGHT BE POSSIBLE IN 2004, AFTER ALL Our best, and possibly only, opportunity to require a voter-verifiable paper trail for electronic voting everywhere in the U.S. for the November 2004 election is "The Voter Confidence and Increased Accessibility Act of 2003." The House version (H.R. 2239) was introduced in May by Rep. Rush Holt. The Senate version (S. 1980) was introduced in December by Senator Bob Graham. VerifiedVoting.org is in the midst of a campaign to contact every Senator as many times as possible to let them know how much we care about passing this bill. We have heard that the House bill may not move until the Senators are clear on which of the three voting bills (Clinton's S.1986, Boxer's S.2045, or Graham's S.1980) is gaining the most support. text Everything but Ralphing: Dems respond to Nader’s candidacy Seven Oaks 2004-03-02 12:51 PM
If you turn south, squint your eyes, and open you ears, you can hear the not-so-faint sound of establishment liberals gritting their teeth. Ralph Nader’s decision last week to take a third run at the presidency has provoked a complicated collective temper tantrum that is interesting not just for its manifestations of plain-and-simple, ugly nastiness, but also for the way in which it has divided liberals into varying shades of Nader haters -- from the quiet regret of former supporters like Susan Sarandon, to the likes of distinguished Professor Bruce Jackson who wishes that Nader would just “douse himself with gasoline and exit this world…in a blaze of protesting glory.” http://www.sevenoaksmag.com/ (text/plain)

No words from the bushites who rule our communications through corporate news censorship, while Christian parents call out unheard: why has corporate america allowed forsaken soldiers to eat plutonium to murder God for a measly few dollars the bushmob will pocket for the up coming "unbiased" re-election news campaign? (text/plain)

text The Crats of Hebron Mary La Rosa 2004-03-01 12:51 AM
".... this rising "third" population lives ferociously in Hebron, along with the Palestinians and the settlers and soldiers. They have come about as a direct result of the illegal occupation, but are in some ways symbolic of the different kind of existence that Old Hebron has become as it is called, Area H-2." (text/plain)

text OPEN LETTER TO ALL PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES Albert Kada 2004-02-29 9:23 PM

text SADDAM'S HONORABLE EXIT STRATEGY Albert Kada 2004-02-29 9:21 PM
Saddam Hussein, did what the Commander and Chief was supposed to do in the event of such an unstoppable foreign invasion. He publicly handed over the presidential pistol to an Iraqi civilian and promised to return if humanly possible. He then hid in Iraq until Bush cartel forces found him. (text/plain)
