At least five people were arrested Monday night at around 1AM on or near the corner of Frenchman and Chartres streets when police began pulling people seemingly at random from the crowd of the annual Lundi Gras street party. Among them was Casey Clyde, a musician in his sixties who was playing a drum when he was seized, thrown to the ground, and held down by at least four officers.
