Passamaquoddy Tribal Members Fighting the Location of an LNG Terminal on Their Land in Maine come to New Orleans Environmental Conference
This weekend, the 10th annual Tulane Environmental Conference, April 1st and 2nd, include discussions on the topics of Agriculture and the Environment, Wildlife Law Updates, Energy law and Policy and the Urban Environment. Friday night’s keynote speaker is Anthony Oposa, the public interest lawyer who brought the case Oposa v. Factoran, establishing standing to sue in environmental cases for future unborn generations. Saturday night, Greg Palast, author of the book “The Best Democracy Money Can Buy” will speak.
